Abstract

We demonstrate the role of mass asymmetry on composite yield of light mass particles and entropy production by analyzing the reactions with various mass asymmetries throughout the periodic table. The study is conducted using various mass asymmetries via keeping the total system masses constant to 40, 80, 160 and 240 units. The study is done at different incident energies of 400, 600, 800 and 1000 MeV/nucleon. We found that, though, the production of composite yield to calculate entropy production changes for different asymmetries of colliding partners but the entropy production remains almost constant for all mass asymmetries as well as system masses.
