Abstract

AbstractTelemedicine exchanges the medical information remotely and it is extensively used in the current scenario. Artificial Intelligence has improved many telemedicine aspects such as Patient Monitoring, Health care information system development, and intelligent assistance and diagnosis. IoT is widely employed in various medical approaches, equipment, IT communications, amongst physicians and patients. Cloud computing technology is extensively adopted in the Telemedicine practice by providing services over the internet, hardware, and software in a data centre. The planning and organization of Telemedicine consultation, the hardware, and software to be used are discussed in detail. The telemedicine clinical guideline to be adopted by the Doctors and Patients for effective implementation is highlighted. The various ICT Applications in top Telemedicine facilities and the use of Telerobotics in healthcare and surgery is also explained. The applications of Geospatial, Blockchain technologies in Telemedicine have been provided. The future trends in technology are extensive use of Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and Big Data.
