Abstract
Education is a weapon for social change. To change the world education is considered as a primary factor. To make a better world, every country need a dynamic education system which covers all dimension that help to fulfil the goals of sustainable development. Sustainable development means to meets the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Education for sustainable development means to cover all aspects in the field of education which help to promote sustainable development Education is way to promoting sustainable development among the young learners. The present study is an attempt to know the role of education in sustainable development. The researcher used secondary sources of data for completing the present study.
