Abstract

Introduction: To evaluate the efficacy of topical cyclosporin A 0.1% eye drops in management of moderate to severe perennial vernal keratoconjunctivitis. Methods: Fourteen patients with moderate to severe perennial vernal keratoconjunctivitis, who were dependent on steroid eye drops for control of disease, were administered 0.1% cyclosporin A eye drops twice a day. Signs, symptoms and steroid score were calculated at start of study, and then at two monthly interval. Results: Ten males and four females, between age of 3 – 17 years were enrolled in this study.
