Abstract
The article is devoted to coverage of the current state of the science of comparative law in the legal life of Russia, identification of its place and role in the formation of national legal policy, identification of issues related to application of the comparative law knowledge at the present stage, as well as the formation of proposals regarding the further development of this area of public knowledge.
