Bionanotechnology is a new nanotechnology subdiscipline, draws influence from biological processes. Bionanotechnology, which combines nanotechnology and biology, could revolutionise healthcare and medicine. This literature review critically examines the existing literature to provide comprehensive insight into the role and potential of bionanotechnology in surgery and anaesthesiology by presenting an up-to-date overview and summarizing current advances in its application in both fields.
