Abstract

ABSTRACTThe analytical instrument plays a major role in forensic science, therefore a proper pedagogical approach has to be followed for a proper understanding of the theory as well as the practical application of analytical instruments. This study provides a pedagogical approach of teaching analytical instrumentation in the master degree course of forensic science at LNJN NICFS, New Delhi, India. A complete teaching-learning approach has been used to make the students understand the theoretical aspect of the subject, as well as hands-on practical exposure, is provided. Real-life case studies have been used to provide practical exposure to the students. The obtained feedback from the students at the end of the course shows that the students were able to learn the theory as well as the practical application of the course in a proper manner.
