Abstract

Learning that uses information technology tools will be able to help students to more easily understand the subject of lesson content. Today multimedia technology is the most commonly used. Multimedia technology with a scenario that refers to lesson content is easier to understand than without scenarios. The effect of a scenario causes a learning media must have a character to make the learning media more quality. In this research, the role and influence of a character in the learning scenario will be investigated. Characters that match the content of the lesson and according to age Students must be properly considered so that students have an interest in the material that is in a learning media. From the results of the research obtained several important variables that must be considered by developers who want to create a character in the multimedia-based learning media.
