Abstract

The article focuses on the analysis of the importance of remuneration and other non-wage factors in the motivational system of employees in a selected enterprise. The aim of the study was to understand the impact of these factors on employee engagement and to identify the best practices in the use of an incentive system. The results of the study confirmed that remuneration plays an important role in motivating employees. It is an important element for achieving better results at work and maintaining a qualified staff. However, in addition to remuneration, the study showed that there are also non-wage factors that are crucial for employee motivation, e.g. recognition and opportunities for professional development, good atmosphere in the workplace. Best practices for the incentive system include a balanced approach that takes into account both remuneration and non-wage factors. Organizations should adapt the incentive system to the individual needs of employees, providing them with the opportunity to develop, appreciate their efforts and create a friendly work environment. The conclusions of the study may be applicable to other companies that want to increase the motivation of employees through the effective use of both remuneration and non-wage factors. Taking care of these factors can lead to increased employee engagement, improved efficiency and reduced staff turnover.
