Abstract

Rogowski coil is current transducer can be used in electric power applications to measured transient. The Rogowski coil and active integrators are combined as a measuring system. The Rogowski coil is analysed here with various perspective, including different integrating method used at the output stage. The paper presents advancement in Rogowski coil and the integrator that is use for measurement of impulse current. The response of the measuring scheme, which is obtained from simulation, the measuring system waveform with injected impulse current waveform are compared and reported. An analysis of the frequency response of measuring systems are discussed in this paper.
