Abstract
The intramolecular dipole-dipole relaxation of spin systems in rotating-frame Overhauser enhancement spectroscopy (ROESY) experiments is analyzed. The full ROESY relaxation matrices for AX, AMX, AMPX, AX 2, AX 3, A 2, and A 3 spin systems are presented. A multiple-quantum ROESY pulse sequence is proposed for measuring ROESY peaks connecting multiple-spin coherences of any order that can be generated and detected.
