Abstract

Dr. Rodger Brown is an assistant professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He completed his medical degree and integrated plastic surgery residency training at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Brown maintains a very diverse practice in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, with the majority of his practice focusing on breast reduction, breast reconstruction, Mohs reconstruction, body contouring, thoracic and abdominal wall reconstruction, and facial and lower extremity trauma. His research interests focus on improving clinical outcomes in plastic surgery. I want to thank Dr. Brown for serving as guest editor for this issue of Seminars in Plastic Surgery on techniques in breast reduction and mastopexy. We also appreciate the efforts made by each outstanding author for sharing with us their knowledge and expertise.
