Abstract

We use the Wison-Devinney Roche model to re-analyse the light curves of two short-period eclipsing binaries, ST Car and RY Ind. The results show that for ST Car, the photometric mass ratio is q ≈ 0.50, and that both are detached systems wtih the less massive components almost filling their Roche lobes. Their photometric features indicte that they are proably after the Algol stage in their evolution.
