Abstract

With the high degree of cooperation of communication technology, sensor network, communication unit and computing equipment, power system has gradually expanded from traditional single-layer network to interdependent network. Although this interdependent topology is helpful to realize the complex functions of smart grid, it also causes the disturbance to propagate in a larger range in the interdependent network and reduces the robustness of the system. Therefore, it has become a hot research topic for scholars in recent years to explore the cascaded failure model of interdependent smart grid and to suppress it. In this paper, we propose an open-loop discrete adaptive ant colony algorithm based on multi-agent to optimize in the solution network of cascading failures of interdependent networks and develop a better edge addition suppression strategy. The simulation results show that compared with the edge increasing strategy proposed in the current literature, the proposed edge increasing strategy can better suppress the cascade failure propagation range of the interdependent network and improve the robustness of the network.
