Abstract

The present paper deals with the time-optimal positional control for objects whose dynamics are described by a random differential inclusion with discontinuous right-hand side. Considerations include the speed limitation problem. The existence and characteristics of the almost certain time-optimal control, proved in recent works, are commented upon. In compliance with the results obtained, the switching curve, well-known from the (deterministic) classical case, has been "blurred" by the random factor introduced here to the switching area. Empirical examinations confum numerous advantages of the control systems designed, especially in the area of robustness.
