Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of robust stabilization for a class of uncertain networked control systems (NCSs) with random time delay via the static output feedback control. A novel switching control approach is proposed by modeling the random delay as a Markov process. The resulting closed-loop system is a Markovian jump linear system (MJLS) with random delay. Based on Lyapunov stability theorem combined with linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) techniques, some new delay-dependent stability criteria for the system are derived. A static output feedback controller that makes the closed-loop systems robustly exponentially mean-square stable is designed, which is obtained by solving some linear matrix inequalities.
