Abstract

This paper is a sequel to Daa (1997} wherein a study of robust second order rotatable designs with correlated errors was initiated. Second order rotatability conditions were derived for general correlated error structure and special cases were examined under autocorrelated structure of errors. Here we examine robustness of usual second order rotatable designs i.e., those with uncorrelated errors ( SORD's) with emphasis on properties such as weak rotatability (arising in the context of correlated error structure}, with due consideration of the cost involved.
