Abstract

In this paper, a robust photometer circuit based on positive and negative feedback compensation is presented. The performance analysis of the photometer circuit is carried out and it is compared against the performance of a photometer circuit based on a basic transimpedance amplifier. The photometer circuit designed in this paper is robust against disturbances on the photodiode parameters, the results are satisfactory and show the importance of applying robust control techniques to the design of photometer circuits.
