Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem of robust stability of uncertain linear discrete system with time-varying delay is discussed. A simple and effective method is presented whereby some sufficient conditions are derived so that the asymptotic stability of uncertain discrete time-delay systems can be guaranteed. It is shown that the stability robustness of uncertain discrete time-delay systems is ensured provided that the nominal eigenvalues remain inside the unit circle in the complex plane which is determined by the upper norm-bounds of uncertainties, which results in a robust controller design procedure.
