Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of H2 performance for LPV systems. The H2 performance index is based on a parameter dependent Lyapunov function with quadratic dependence on the parameters as well as on the system state. This stability notion, referred to as Bi-Quadratic Stability, is appropriate to deal with real parameters with magnitude and rate of change which are confined to a given convex region. Sufficient conditions based on LMI are developed for the H2 performance analysis of LPV systems and designs of LPV controllers with garanteed H2 performance.
