Abstract

The distributed fault estimation observer (DFEO) is studied for continuous-time multi-agent systems in this paper. For each agent, a fault estimation observer is designed using neighborhood output estimation errors. By denoting global estimation error vectors, the global error dynamics is constructed for the multi-agent systems. Then, the existence condition of the presented DFEO is further discussed to present its feasibility. Based on the decomposition technique, the result of H2 DFEO are given to calculate the distributed gain matrix of DFEO. Finally, an example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design techniques.
