Abstract

This paper investigates the problem of robust filter design for a class of uncertain nonlinear networked control systems (NCSs) with random communication network-induced delays and data packet dropouts. The Markov process is used to model these random network-induced effects. Based on the Takaig-Sugeno fuzzy model and Lyapunov-Razumikhin method, a fuzzy filter is designed such that a prescribed filter estimation error is less than a prescribed level, irrespective of the uncertainties and network-induced effects. The designed robust fuzzy filter is given in terms of the solvability of bilinear matrix inequalities, which is solved by a proposed iterative algorithm. An illustrative is used to demonstrate the validity of the results.
