Abstract

In this paper, robust finite-time H ∞ filtering for uncertain switched systems with state constraints and multiple time delays is investigated. In this studied plant, there are nonlinear functions and exogenous disturbances. First, a filter is described for the switched systems. A closed-loop system is earned to acquire filtering error. Secondly, piecewise Lyapunov function is designed to gain sufficient stability conditions for the closed-loop system. Not only finite-time boundedness (FTB) but also input-output finite-time stability (IO-FTS) is studied. The attempt is the first time to research. In the end, an example is shown to demonstrate the availability of this method suggested in this study.

Summary

INTRODUCTION

Switched systems are a kind of common hybrid systems. With increasing complexity of engineering systems, more and more considerable attention has been devoted to switched systems because they appear more frequently in different engineering applications [1], [2]. The research on FTB and IO-FTS of uncertain switched systems with state constraints and multiple time delays is little, which inspires our research enthusiasm. The work primarily investigates robust finite-time H∞ filtering for uncertain switched systems with state constraints and multiple time delays. The contributions of the proposed results in the work are as follows: 1) This is the first attempt to design the filter for the uncertain switched systems with state constraints and multiple time delays. 2) This is the first try to study the issues of FTB and IO-FTS for the uncertain switched systems with state constraints and multiple time delays simultaneously.
