Abstract

The robust controllability and observability of Boolean control networks (BCNs) under disturbances are investigated. Two cases are discussed: (1) the disturbances are not observable; (2) the disturbances are observable. For the first case, a necessary and sufficient condition is obtained for robust controllability of BCN s. For the second case, by introducing the order preserving property, an efficient sufficient condition is obtained for robust controllability of BCN s. Then an algorithm is presented to construct the least control sequences for both cases. Finally, the robust observability problem is converted into an equivalent robust controllability via set controllability, and is solved by using the results obtained for robust controllability. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed results.
