Abstract

Aiming at the problem that the output current waveform of converter is unstable and lack fidelity when the input source is unbalanced or the loads change, which is harmful to the operation of system, the Lyapunov function based control method is proposed. It controls the output current of converter by designed algorithm to avoid the error between settings and actual current and keeps it stable to improve the loading capability of converter under abnormal conditions. The proposed control strategy is verified in Matlab. Compared with traditional PID control strategy, the simulation results show that the designed control method plays an important role at anti-disturbance on output current on the conditions of unbalanced input sources and unbalanced loads, which verify the effectiveness and robustness of proposed control method. Simulation and experiment results show that the control strategy could improve the stability of output current and solve distortion problem, also it can improve the stability performance of the converters.
