Abstract
In this work, the technique of Uncertainty and Disturbance Estimator (UDE) has been employed to suppress wing rock motion in delta winged aircraft subjected to time varying angle of attack and disturbance. The time varying angle of attack introduces significant uncertainties which along with external disturbances are dynamically estimated and compensated using UDE. In addition, an observer based UDE controller has also been designed for its application to wing rock problem. Simulations have been carried out to validate the efficacy of the UDE based controllers, thus designed, for stabilization and tracking scenario.
