Abstract

The problem of robust admissibility analysis for uncertain discrete-time singular systems with time-varying delay is addressed in this paper. A comparison model is introduced to analyze the connection of two subsystems instead of the original singular system in order to handle the time-varying delay and norm-bounded uncertainty. The approximation of comparison model is carefully employed in order to result a much smaller error. After this transformation, a new singular system without uncertainty and delay is handled by the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) approach instead of the original system. Then, by virtue of the the scaled small gain (SSG) theorem, the new admissiblity conditions of the original singular system are proposed by linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which come from the admissiblity condition of the subsystem. Finally, examples are used to show less conservative for the results obtained.
