Abstract

In this paper, a robust adaptive beamformer is proposed by utilizing an enhanced diagonal loading method and steering vector estimation. The enhanced diagonal loading matrix, which related to the sample covariance matrix, is introduced to enhance the ratio of signal-to-interference-plus-noise (SINR) for the robust adaptive beamformer. The new constrained optimization problem is constructed, and it does well in reducing the array steering vector error. Simulations, compared with other robust adaptive beamformers, show an obvious advantage of proposed algorithm.
