Abstract
This paper investigates robust adaptive coordinated attitude tracking issue for spacecraft formation flying system with nonrigid and rigid spacecraft under directed communication topology, where the inertia and external disturbances are totally unknown time-varying. A novel robust adaptive attitude tracking coordination control algorithm is proposed to regulate the attitude of the spacecraft to a common time-varying reference state. The control law is robust adaptive against external disturbances and time-varying inertia under the directed topology. In addition, a dynamic adjustment function is designed to limit the amplitude of control torque. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the presented control algorithm and better control performance when compared with an adaptive control scheme.
