Abstract

This paper focuses on modeling and compensation of multiple time delays in Internet congestion control, which has not been addressed in the literatures. A new mathematical model of the congestion control system for Internet with multiple state and input time delays is established, and a robust predictive congestion controller is presented. The controller is designed based on active queue management (AQM) and linear matrix inequality (LMI). The performance of the closed-loop system is analyzed via Lyapunov-Krasovskii approach and the effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified through simulation.
