Abstract

In this paper, the problem of finding a robust α-exponential estimate for a class of perturbed positive discrete-time time-delay systems with polytopic uncertainties will be addressed. By proposing a linear parameter-dependent Lyapunov function, a condition for the existence of robust α-exponential estimates will be introduced. Some optimisation techniques are also incorporated to obtain a more accurate estimate. In particular, a procedure to reformulate a class of fractional programming problems into a linear programming problem which can be solved efficiently. A numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
