Abstract

To perform the tasks assigned by the Twenty-sixth CPSU Congress pertaining to the acceleration of scientific and technical progress mainly entails the production and deployment of industrial robots. At the June (1983) Plenum of the CPSU Central Committee, Iu. V. Andropov noted the need to automate production, to secure the broadest possible use of computers and robots, and to introduce flexible technologies.
