Abstract

Robotic Assisted Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy has been demonstrated to be a safe and effective method for performing a minimally invasive hysterectomy with an excellent outcome profile and low rate of complications. Robotic hysterectomy is often criticized for the number and size of laparoscopic ports needed to perform a straightforward robotic hysterectomy compared to conventional laparoscopy. The procedure described in this video describes a technique for robotic hysterectomy using a total of three ports with two operative arms and one camera port.
