Abstract
Background: The technique of left trisegmentectomy was first published in 1982 and consists in the removal of the left liver (segments 2, 3 and 4) along with the right anterior sector (segments 5 and 8). This procedure is based on the knowledge of the segmental liver anatomy. We present a video of a robotic left trisectionectomy using Glissonian aproach in a patient with a huge HCC initially treated with immunotherapy.
