Abstract
Purpose: Osteochondromas are relatively uncommon benign tumours in the thorax. There are incidences reported in the literature of mechanical complications caused by costal exostoses necessitating repair via open or video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery methods. We describe a peculiar case of an osteochondroma originating from the diaphragm that successfully underwent robotic-assisted resection.
