Abstract

A 61-year-old man was referred for dysuria and management of a 6-months history of perineal swelling. Patient has no remarkable past medical history nor previous abdominal surgery. At physical examination, a bulging mass on the left half of the perineum was noted. Ultrasound (US) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed a 20 × 10 cm mass in the abdomen and pelvis, between the bladder and the rectum, developing toward the perineum, compressing the muscles,the prostate and the urethra (Fig. 1).
