Abstract
The latest road traffic noise prediction model "ASJ RTN-Model 2023" was published by the Research Committee on Road Traffic Noise of the Acoustical Society of Japan (ASJ) in this April. In this new version, the method for predicting structure-borne noise from viaducts was also updated. Specifically, the calculation method was updated to separate direct sound and ground-reflected sound, and the sound power levels on structure-borne noise from viaducts have revised accordingly based on the latest research results. This paper describes the method for measuring structure-borne noise, the latest values of noise emission and its frequency characteristics, and the method for predicting structure-borne noise.
