Abstract

Dear Reader, It was way back in December 2014 that Ella Watson-Stryker was named TIMES Person of the Year for 2014 and featured on the Cover of Time Magazine. Dr Watson-Stryker was recognised with the honour, which she shared with all the healthcare workers who, under trying circumstances, helped people in various west African countries fight the Ebola virus. While many experts predicted that the Ebola virus might cause a pandemic like situation across the world, the efforts of the healthcare workers ensured that Ebola virus was contained.
