Chi Zijian explores the confluence of rivers and writing as they merge and comingle in the estuary of her work within the wider contexts of contemporary Chinese fiction. Rivers, like languages, flow across a wide range of geographies, but each is tied to specific local places. Follow Chi through this poetic journey at the intersection of water, language, and land.
