Abstract
Few data exist on the use of atypical antipsychotic medications in the treatment of aggression in toddlers. A literature search revealed that most data on the use of risperidone in young children were limited to children between the ages of 3.5 and 5 years of age ( Cesena et al., 2002 Cesena M Gonzalez-Heydrich J Szigethy E Kohlenberg TM DeMaso DR A case series of eight aggressive young children with risperidone. The following is a case example in which the use of risperidone resulted in significant improvement in the developmentally delayed toddler with severe aggression.
