A total of 301 students, 170 female and 131 male, between the ages of 15 and 20 participated in this research. For data collection, three data collection tools, Personal Information Form, The scale of ris-taking in adolescents, and The Scale of Perfectionism in Child and Adolescents were used. The data was analysed through t-test, ANOVA analysis and multi- regression analysis. The findings showed that the level of risk-taking behaviors in adolescents is highly related to their gender and marital status of their parents, but as to their after-school activities, there seemed no significant differences. The results aslo state that there is a significant statistical relation between socially-oriented and self-oriented perfectionism and risk-taking, in which perfectionism is an effective factor.
