Abstract

This study aims to identify risks in organic farming suppliers and design mitigation strategies. risk identification approach is based on sustainable performance indicators. Risk is the possibility of the occurrence of not achieving economic, social and environmental performance. Sustainable performance indicators are obtained from literature studies and interviews with suppliers and experts, then analyzed using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and only indicators that have a high weight will be discussed. Mitigation actions are prioritized on risks that have the highest Risk Priority Number value using the House of risk method. Based on the results, there are 16 risk events, 22 risk agents and 25 proposed mitigation strategies that can be applied by suppliers. The proposed mitigation strategy can be used for suppliers in organic farming to improve their performance.
