Abstract

Abstract Risk minimization is a theory from mathematical finance that can be used for determining trading strategies. The theory of risk minimization was instituted by Föllmer and Sondermann who essentially suggested the determination of trading strategies for a given liability by minimizing the variance of future costs defined as the difference between the liability (or claim) and gains made from trading on the financial market.
