Abstract

Risk in human resource management is currently one of the less recognized risk areas. Meanwhile, employees are one of the main factors in shaping, implementing and developing organizational activities in any company, determining its success or failure. The main goal of the article is to identify and assess the level of risk in selected areas of human resource management in manufacturing companies classified according to the size of the company. The article is based on the results of own survey research conducted in 2020 on a group of 140 micro, small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises. Statistical analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-2 coefficient of correlation and the V-Cramer test as commonly used statistical methods for non-parametric variables. The research confirmed the existence of statistically significant dependency between the majority of the examined elements of human resources risk and the size of enterprises.
