Abstract

Objective To analysis the risk factors of nosocomial viral infections in ICU,so as to guide the clinical treatments.Methods The clinical data of 200 patients treated in ICU was analyzed retrospectively.The patients were divided into a non-infection group with virus during their stay in ICU (92 subjects),and an infection group with virus infection (108 subjects).All clinical data from both groups was statistically analyzed for the risk factors of nosocomial infection.Results Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that > 60 years of age,the length of stay in hospital > 14 d,intubation time > 7d,diabetes and hypoproteinemia were risk factors of nosocomial viral infection (P < 0.05) for patients,Conclusions There were some risk factors of nosocomial viral infections in ICU and corresponding prevention measures should be taken in hospital.
