Abstract

Objectives. To study risk factors for the development of stroke in men of different age groups exposed to adverse industrial factors. Materials and methods. A total of 411 men aged 30–65 years who had had stroke were studied; of these, 335 patients were exposed to adverse industrial factors and 76 had not experienced harmful factors (reference group). Results. The distribution frequencies of risk factors for stroke in men stratified by the nature of work-related adverse factors were determined.
