Abstract

Low back pain (LBP) is a common problem, with an estimated prevalence of 31% in US populations.1 Approximately 75% to 80% of the population will experience at least one episode of acute LBP during their lifetime. Most patients who experience an episode of LBP will improve over the course of a month.
