To determine potential risk factors for congenital hydrocephalus (CH) in the current era, investigators retrospectively identified cases of CH in Mississippi during a 10-year period. By reviewing diagnostic codes from the University of Mississippi, the investigators identified 3471 patients, of whom 596 had confirmed diagnoses of CH and agreed to participate in the study.
