Abstract

To explore the MOE(margin of exposure) application in risk assessment of peanut aflatoxins in consumers,data of aflatoxins contamination in post-harvest peanut of China and the data of Chinese peanut consumption were collected.Based on aflatoxins toxicological data,MOE values of different regions from population of different age-groups were evaluated.Results indicated no significant differences between urban and rural regions,but children were at higher risk than other populations.Compared to low-dose extrapolation,MOE was recommended due to its effective performance in posterior analysis.
