Abstract

Engineering project schedule risk management is a part of risk management work involving multi-stage factors, which has important economic value and research significance. Integrating with engineering practice, a construction schedule risk assessment method based on the combination of BIM technology and critical chain theory is proposed, and case applications are made in this article using building information modeling (BIM) technology, Internet, Internet of Things (IoT) and other technologies with the traditional risk assessment theory. By conducting BIM-CCM-based risk assessment on the schedule management process of actual construction projects, a scientific and effective method is proposed to improve the project schedule risk management, thus contributing to the schedule risk management of construction projects of the same type. The conclusion of this paper is that the risk assessment system based on BIM-CCM can improve the informatization level of risk assessment, and a dynamic risk assessment mechanism is developed and reflected in the BIM model and the schedule critical chain, so that project managers can receive the warning information and take action timely.
